I received a URL from a colleague. What should I do?
It is possible for a colleague to share his or her collections with you. The process for sharing a collection with colleagues is different from the one used to share with students.
Here is the procedure to follow when you receive a URL from one of your colleagues:
You have two options for using the link.
- The easiest method is to click on the link you receive, which will take you to the collection.
- You can also choose to copy the link and paste it into your browser's address bar, as shown in the image below.
When you open the link to the collection, you can first view its contents, and then duplicate it to add it to your own collections.
Once the collection is duplicated, it can be edited as needed. See the following articles to learn how to modify different parts of a collection:

Please note that collections are not collaborative, and sharing only allows you to create a copy of a collection from another subscriber. If you are the creator of the original collection and make changes to it, those changes will not be reflected in the shared and copied version.
You will need to share it again to provide the updated version to your colleagues, who will then have to copy it again.
